With such a diverse range of water and land based activities available, you really can plan a visit to the centre at any time of the year. In the winter months’ programmes are more focussed on land-based activities however there is still always the option to get out on the water doing activities such as powerboating, keelboat sailing and open boating.
Tailormade Programmes
When booking, our team will work closely with you to develop a programme that suits your requirements. These can include evening activities and programmes that meet the needs of the national curriculum. Sample activity programme.
Group I/C
For the duration of your stay you will have one key member of our instructional team who will be in charge of your group and oversee your entire visit.
Accommodation
There are two accommodation options, either twin-bedded, ensuite rooms in the main centre complex or in dormitory style accommodation in our onsite houses. Accommodation choice is subject to availabilty.
Accreditation and Safety
Plas Menai has been running activity programmes for schools groups since 1983. We set the highest standards of safety, our operational routines are stringent, and as you would expect, equipment and protective clothing is of the higest quality.
We are accredited and inspected by the Adventure Activity Licensing Authority, the Royal Yachting Association and the British Canoe Union.
We understand that teachers, education authorities and parents are looking for the reassuarance and credentials to support your trip. Our Health and Safety information pack is available to download and we are happy to assist with any further questions you may have.

Free Places
