Our activity courses have been popular with schools and colleges since the centre opened over twenty two years ago. You can be assured that our experience and professionalism will ensure a memorable time for young people of all ages and abilities.
Our excellent facilities, experienced and qualified staff and wide range of equipment and great activity locations all serve to provide a stimulating and educational experience.
There’s no greater testimony to the success of our programmes for schools and colleges than the fact that schools return year after year.
At our purpose-built activity centre, with on-site accommodation and leisure facilities, we’ll put together a programme to suit your needs. We offer:
- multi-activity courses
- dinghy, windsurfing and canoe courses for all levels
- courses for the national curriculum, GCSE’s and A levels
- courses for the Duke of Edinburgh award
- field trip accommodation
- activities for Prince of Wales Trust volunteers
Activities
Choice is the key word at Plas Menai. Programmes can be either multi- or single-activity courses leading to national governing body proficiency awards. The activities to choose from include:
- Sailing (single-handed or double-handed dinghies)
- Small yachts (Hunter707s)
- Powerboating
- Windsurfing
- Canoeing
- Mountain walking
- Rock climbing
- Gorge walking
- Mountain Biking
- Raft building
- Teambuilding
- Orienteering
Included in your Trip:
- Accommodation and all meals from arrival to departure
- Instruction in small groups
- All safety and protective clothing

- One free teacher/leader per 10 students
