Instructional Development Programme

Plas Menai offers paid work placements of between 6 and 11 months providing you with valuable experience and additional outdoor instructor qualifications. 

The programme is open to anyone who holds at least one water-based instructor qualification. It includes a PAID monthly living allowance and full board and accommodation.

Freelance Instructors

Bookings Administrative Officer 

This is a 18 month Fixed Term Contract to cover Maternity Leave

Do you have what it takes to develop new and existing business opportunities at one of the largest National Outdoor Centres in Wales? 

The Sport Wales National Outdoor Centre, Plas Menai is situated on the banks of the Menai Straits, a stone’s throw from Snowdonia National Park and the stunning coastline of Anglesey and the Lleyn Peninsular. The Centre has been delivering a range of water and land based activities for over 30 years and trains individuals who go on to work across the world.

We are looking for an enthusiastic Bookings Administrative Officer  to ensure the smooth running of all general bookings and school visits, being a key member of the team that keeps the centre functioning for it’s customers.

Working as part of a  team you will contribute to the marketing activities and identify new marketing opportunities.

We are looking for candidates with a passion and understanding of the adventurous sports industry. You will also need excellent administrative and financial skills, be an excellent communicator with strong customer service focus.
