The RYA Keelboat Level 3 – Better Sailing consolidates on what you have learnt in the RYA Keelboat Level 1 and 2 certificates and will give you a taster of the RYA Advanced Keelboat courses.
Our instructors will have some flexibility to tailor this course to your own requirements depending on how you would like to develop your skills. This could include teaching you some basic sailing skills such as using a spinnaker or more information about day cruising.
It is all about building on what you have learnt during Levels 1 and 2 and your experience of sailing your own boat and give you more techniques and confidence in sailing in different conditions.
Ability after course: More confident in sailing skills and techniques, and ready to progress onto the advanced modules
Using their local knowledge of the tides and the weather, our highly experienced instructors will ensure you get the very most out of the weekend, whatever the conditions.
The Next Steps: This weekend will provide you with a solid foundation on which to develop your sailing independently. Once you feel confident in the skills you have learnt, consider RYA Sailing with Spinnakers and our RYA Seamanship Skills.
