Improve your windsurfing technique on this practical weekend course. Over the weekend we aim to cover the following;

RYA Intermediate Windsurfing: This course aims to improve your technique and confidence by introducing new skills including the beach start and an introduction to the harness and footstraps. RYA Windsurfing Pathway

Key learning points: faster tacking and gybing, blasting control, use of harness and footstraps

Our experienced and enthusiastic instructors are always keen to share their passion for windsurfing and this weekend will be packed full of top tips and advice to help you develop your windsurfing and hone your skills.

The Next Steps: We do not run any advanced windsurfing courses, due to the unpredictable nature of the weather. However if you are keen to develop your skills further, please let us know as we may be able to put on an advanced training course at short notice and are currently building a database of those who would be interested in attending.

Course Information

Duration: 2 Days

Time: 0915-1700

Certificate: RYA Intermediate Windsurfing

Minimum Standard: Skills and knowledge up to Start Windsurfing standard

Minimum Age: 16 yrs. 

Anyone under the age of 18 years must have a Parental Consent form completed and signed by a parent/guardian - this must be handed in to reception on arrival during registration, without this form participants will not be permitted to take part.
